The medieval citadel of SIGHISOARA is the only one still inhabited in SE Europe. The two-hour walking tour includes the famous Clock Tower, Vlad the Impaler / Dracula’s birthplace, the Venetian House, the House with the Stag, the Schoolchildren’s Wood-Covered Staircase, the Church on the Hill, the Church of the Monastery, the Roman-Catholic Church, old houses restored with EU funds or private funds (Messerschmidt Foundation) etc.
SIGHISOARA is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1999
