MOGOSOAIA PALACE: built in 1702 by prince Constantin Brancoveanu. The Palace is a good example of the Romanian Renaissance style, combined with Venetian and Turkish elements. (NOTE: THE PALACE IS CLOSED ON MONDAY.)

SNAGOV MONASTERY: built in 1408. Vlad the Impaler/Dracula’s alleged burial place.
CERNICA MONASTERY: built in 1608 (monk monastery).
